A just and value driven society where everyone has the right to govern the process of development and change in their desirable manner, where communal harmony and collaborative efforts form the base. Lok Sahbhagi Manch dreams of establishment of a society rich in cultural values, peace and social justice. To facilitate the process of change towards empowerment of the underprivileged sections for making them an active participant in the development process. To strengthen voluntary action of Chhattisgarh by capacitating civil society organisations and individuals by building up common perspectives over issues and promoting collective action to ensure a proper gateway to democracy from the grassroots by the end of 2011.

Objectives

To develop a common consensus regarding the Social, Cultural and Political Issues and to work in collaboration with other organisations in organising and executing programmes that directly affects the lives of a common man.

Conducting Research’s and Studies on different subjects and issues that advocates people’s betterment and to ensure that the policies framed by the government are people oriented.

To develop a sense of sensitivity among the voluntary organisations of C.G regarding Human rights and to work collectively for the cause.

To help and support organisations which are working in C.G. by providing guidance in their works like Reports, Documentations, Books etc.

To organise different Training Programmes Workshops, Seminars and Exposures Trips for the staffs of voluntary organisations, so that they could develop better understanding about issues and could inculcate the knowledge gained in their routine work.

This forum will also constantly work on different developmental issues.

To work in collaboration with other like minded organisations of (Chhattisgarh & other States of India) on different Issue Based Subjects.

To form a pervasive group of Social organisation which will actively work on different issues and subjects.

To work in tandem with different national and international organisations on different government and non- government projects and programmes and accordingly evaluating and conducting research’s on them.

To seek support from different international and national organisations and also from central and state government and accordingly coordinate different activities with other voluntary organisations.

To encourage and motivate Social groups, organisations, societies and institutions which are working in C.G. by providing them with adequate knowledge and information about causes of Rural Poverty and its Eradication.

To start programmes like Discussions, Meeting and deliberations on the issues that specifically relates to Schedule tribe / schedule tribe and other deprived section and to ensure that the resources are being equally distributed and to check that government adopts formidable strategy in providing services and in framing policies for social justice.
