Identification of Organizations apart from those associated with CASA, willing to work on the issue of land rights and get engaged in the Campaign.

Identification of the specific operational areas for undertaking the Campaign.

Capacity building of the Organization staff on the issue of land rights and the Act passed in this regard.

Development of IEC material for awareness generation among the common masses regarding the Act.

Undertaking panchayat level and block level orientation programs for awareness generation among the common masses regarding the Act. The common masses would comprise of the community people, panchayat representatives, community leaders, teachers, etc.

Convene District and Regional and State level consultation programme with Government and forest officials focused on the Scheduled Tribes and other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006.

Consolidation of the overall process, findings and recommendations for the same at every level for making the Act pro-poor in nature.
