The implementation strategies decided so far have been outlined as follows:-

TYPE OF INTERVENTION : Campaign mode

NAME OF CAMPAIGN : VAN ADHIKAR ABHIYAN (Forest Rights Campaign)

OBJECTIVE OF THE CAMPAIGN :

Raise awareness among the common masses regarding the basic elements of the Scheduled Tribes and other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006.

Dialogue with the respective State Government functionaries to frame State specific laws and implement it in the true spirit benefiting those grieve.

PLACES OF INTERVENTION :

Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The campaign shall be subsequently run in the respective States separately. One of the decisions taken in this regard was that due to similar geo-political conditions of plains of Uttarakhand and U.P., the two places might be clubbed together.
